A Christian Thriller - This story is about a fictional church with irreverent leaders. All are named Christian, but there's an unusual twist - the characters are scriptures, while some are the opposite of scripture. Over 100 scriptures are used to tell the story.

These irreverent leaders compete with one another but consider it to be ministry. Brother Christian uses the Bible to manipulate people solely for his benefit. 

After their usual Sunday fight, he uses the scripture from Psalm 23:5, about the Shepherd who “prepareth a table before me in the presence of my enemies."Later, Brother Christian decides to take a nap, but just before falling asleep, he hazily envisions the Shepherd"standing right in front of him!" Soon he is dead asleep, yet wide awake, and unable to tell if he's in a trance or a nightmare.

Brother Christian will soon understand the meaning of "in the Presence" as he is immersed in the greatest battle over his soul. He ends up wholly traumatized. Who or what did he discover while "in the Presence," or about the Shepherd, and himself?!
